BJP Launches ‘Victory March to 2027’ from Shakti Kendra Conveners’ Conference in Lucknow

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya Pays Tribute to Party Ideologues, Plants Sapling Under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya  declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun its journey towards victory in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections through the Shakti Kendra Conveners’ Conference held in Lucknow. Addressing party workers and office-bearers, he emphasized that the BJP’s organizational strength at the grassroots level would once again pave the way for the party’s return to power in the state.

The programme was organized at Rashtriya Prerna Sthal on the banks of the Gomti River, where the Deputy Chief Minister participated in a series of activities, including plantation under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, viewing an exhibition, and paying floral tributes to eminent national leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that every Shakti Kendra forms a crucial pillar of the BJP’s organizational structure and that the dedication and hard work of booth-level workers remain the party’s greatest strength. He stated that the historic victory campaign for the 2027 Assembly elections had effectively commenced from the sacred banks of the Gomti and expressed confidence that the BJP would once again secure a decisive mandate in the state.

The Deputy Chief Minister also welcomed BJP National President Nitin Nabin on his visit to Lucknow and credited his presence with infusing fresh enthusiasm among party workers. Maurya thanked the party leadership for continuously guiding the organization and strengthening its grassroots network.

During the event, Maurya visited Atal Prerna Sthal and paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, BJP ideologue Deendayal Upadhyaya, and BJP founder leader Syama Prasad Mukherjee. He said that the values championed by these national icons—including nationalism, good governance, Antyodaya, and cultural consciousness—continue to guide India’s development journey.

According to Maurya, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation is advancing on the path of development, service, and effective governance while embracing the ideals of these distinguished leaders. He noted that their vision remains central to the goal of building a developed India.

As part of the programme, the Deputy Chief Minister planted a sapling under the nationwide “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign launched on the appeal of Prime Minister Modi. He urged citizens to actively participate in environmental conservation by planting more trees and ensuring their proper care. Stressing the importance of ecological balance, he said tree plantation is essential for environmental protection, climate stability, and securing a sustainable future for coming generations.

Highlighting the achievements of the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh, Maurya said the party functions with a commitment to service, good governance, and the principle of “Nation First.” He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has achieved significant progress in development, governance, and law and order.

He asserted that the double-engine government had taken strong action against organized crime and the mafia culture, resulting in a safer environment for citizens and investors. As a result, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as one of the country’s leading destinations for investment, industrial growth, infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and employment generation.

Maurya further stated that the BJP government has worked to bring the poor, marginalized, backward classes, Dalits, farmers, youth, and women into the mainstream of development. He highlighted that welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments have been implemented without discrimination, ensuring benefits reach eligible beneficiaries across society.

Referring to various public welfare initiatives, he said that housing, free ration, clean drinking water, electricity connections, health security, sanitation facilities, Ujjwala gas connections, and several other benefits have been provided to millions of citizens. He also underlined efforts to create employment opportunities through transparent recruitment processes, skill development programmes, and self-employment initiatives.

Calling upon party workers to intensify outreach efforts, Maurya urged every Shakti Kendra convener to take government achievements and welfare schemes to every household. He said grassroots engagement would play a decisive role in strengthening public trust and expanding the party’s support base ahead of the 2027 elections.

Expressing confidence in the party’s prospects, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the BJP would once again form the government in Uttar Pradesh with a resounding majority, driven by the strength of the organization, the tireless efforts of party workers, and the blessings of the people.

The conference was attended by BJP National President Nitin Nabin, BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B. L. Santhosh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister of State and Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP Uttar Pradesh General Secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh, public representatives, senior party leaders, and a large number of Shakti Kendra conveners and BJP workers from across the state.
